For people who value the simple, but who are looking for something special, our restaurant is the perfect choice. With a view of the picturesque Moselle river, your taste buds will be spoiled. And yet the gastronomic variety leaves nothing to be desired. Regional produce, as well as international and traditional dishes, are interpreted on the menu in the Kiwara Restaurant, using seasonal ingredients and surprising ingredients. The delicious creations can be supplemented with excellent wines from the wineries of the region, but also with international white or red wines from Austria to South Africa.
At the Hotel Weisser Bär, handling our food with respect is of great importance. We fill the shopping baskets with produce from our region and enrich our dishes with herbs from Maring-Noviand as well as asparagus and strawberries from the Lower Rhine region. Quality products and expert suppliers from the region are particularly important to us. We offer in our restaurant freshly caught fish from the Laacher See (Lake Laach), the pork comes from the nearby Eifel mountains, and we hunted the game ourselves.
When preparing these precious and market-fresh products, special attention is paid to looking beyond the horizon, and with great attention to detail, we create our classics such as Loup de mer in the salt crust or Chateaubriand, which is popular with our guests.
